Jacki Davidoff is an accomplished management executive. She bridges both corporate and non-profit sectors. Her background includes 30 years in leading national advertising agencies and senior executive positions in Chicagoland nonprofits. Jacki has strong expertise in marketing, strategy, and corporate/philanthropic partnerships.
Prior to joining Davidoff, Jacki completed nine years at the Chicago Botanic Garden where she worked in leadership roles in marketing, communications and corporate/foundation fundraising, increasing the organization’s national and regional presence and growing its corporate support to record levels. While serving in various roles at the Chicago Botanic Garden, she led the organization to build and maintain strong relationships with members of the corporate community, other nonprofit partners and government agencies to secure funding for the Garden’s conservation and education programs.
Prior work experience includes serving as President of Gelb Communications, where Jacki consulted with numerous Chicago and national nonprofits including the American Library Association, Rehabilitation Institution of Chicago and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency as a business strategist, marketing consultant, writer and watercolor illustrator.
Jacki started her career in the Chicago advertising community with Ogilvy & Mather and DDB Worldwide on both consumer package goods and nonprofit accounts including Kraft, General Mills, American Cancer Society and Museum of Science and Industry. Jacki has received numerous awards for her writing including the International Caples, American Association of Museums, and Publicity Club of Chicago awards.
She has been actively involved in racial justice training nationally and in leading a reform agenda for her local school board, coalescing community support that led to a successful overturn of the board. She has provided strategy and communications planning for numerous nonprofits, serving on boards and in leadership roles in mission-driven organizations including Amigos de las Americas, Heartland Alliance for Human Rights and Human Needs, the Peace Museum and Green City Market.
Jacki is from Houston, Texas and earned her BS in Advertising with highest honors from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She is currently pursuing her Masters in Transformational Leadership and Coaching at Wright Graduate University for the Realization of Human Potential. Jacki lives in Evanston with business partner and husband John and their two sons.
