John Davidoff




With 35 years of experience working with local, national and international nonprofit, philanthropic foundation, association, municipality and business organizations, John Davidoff is recognized as a leader in strategic planning, marketing and communications strategy, thought leadership, and business development. He is the architect of Davidoff’s proprietary Mission-Driven Strategy & Marketing methodology.

Mr. Davidoff’s broad client experience includes work in social causes, education, healthcare, the environment, and arts and culture. He has worked with numerous  organizations including AARP, Adler Planetarium, Alliance of Museums, American Cancer Society, American Public Transportation Association, Blessings in a Backpack, Centers for Disease Control, Children International, Chicago Tribune, ComEd, Council on Foundations, Easter Seals, Monterey Bay Aquarium, National Children’s Museum, National Forum on Children & Nature (The Conservation Fund), Ocean Conservancy and Zero to Three, Ocean Conservancy, Pan American Health Organization, Smithsonian.

Mr. Davidoff’s blue chip corporate clients have included P&G, Charles Schwab, Discover Card, Allstate, Blue Cross Blue Shield, MasterCard, Visa and Pepsi.

Prior to launching Davidoff Mission-Driven Business Strategy in 2005, Mr. Davidoff held senior executive positions with Entertainment Marketing, Inc. (CEO), Omnicom’s Radiate Group (SVP, Sales and Marketing), General Growth Properties (SVP, Marketing) and DDB (VP, Management Representative and Director of the Event Marketing Resource). An exceptional negotiator, Mr. Davidoff is known for building high-performance teams, effective strategic planning, sales management, corporate partnerships and event marketing.

Mr. Davidoff is a founding board member and secretary of the Wright Foundation for the Realization of Human Potential. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce and is a member of the Chicago City Club and the Union League Club of Chicago. He is a graduate of the Park School of Communications at Ithaca College in New York and is currently pursuing his Master’s and Doctorate of Education in Transformational Leadership and Coaching at the Wright Graduate University for the Realization of Human Potential. He has been a Little League baseball coach, certified AYSO referee, and a Cub Scout Pack Leader, and currently volunteers with the Boy Scouts of America troop 903 in Evanston, IL.

John lives in Evanston, IL with his wife and business partner Jacki Davidoff and their two sons.
